Why I built MYKINDREDCREW

Built from inside the industry, not outside looking in.

I’m Will. I’ve spent my career working on superyachts, and like most people in this industry I’ve watched good crew get overlooked, bad matches get made and hiring decisions come down to a CV, a WhatsApp message or who happens to know who.

I started MYKINDREDCREW because I thought we could do better.

Not by replacing the human side of recruitment with AI—but by using technology to do the heavy lifting, so that experience, character, working preferences and genuine fit can actually matter.

The aim is simple: help the right crew and the right boats find each other.
